- Hands-On Founder Experience: With 12 years of working experience, Lara was Co-Founder and COO (Chief Operations Officer) for two eCommerce platforms (Style in a Box and Chic by Choice) targeted at European markets, launching the business in Portugal and Spain. She led the internationalization processes focused on the UK and German Markets. Lara was awarded with the prize of best fashion startup in Europe in 2016 by “The Europas”, and with a “Forbes: 30 under 30“ distinction in Retail & eCommerce for Europe in 2018.

- Transformation Projects Execution: In the last 7 years, Lara has been working in digital and cultural transformation projects on business modelling, processes and operations, as well as talent strategy and implementation, in areas such as recruitment and organizational assessment. Examples of clients with whom she has worked with on such fields, are startups like Fever or Oval, and large corporations such as Novo Banco, Sacoor Brothers or L´Oréal.

 

- Corporate Innovation Projects: She has experience in developing circular innovation, ecosystem activation and stakeholder engagement projects for companies like the DPDgroup, Sonae Sierra or Cofidis. Lara is also a member of the strategic innovation board of Vieira de Almeida (VdA), nominated by Financial Times as the most innovative law firm in Continental Europe.

- Women Empowerment Advocate: From the beginning of her career as a female founder, Lara always developed initiatives to empower women in different settings, from delivering masterclasses to boost female entrepreneurship, to developing projects to enforce a greater diversity and inclusion in the workplace. She is particularly passionate about supporting the career and personal development of young women and of women in leadership roles. 

- Global Entrepreneurial & Scaling Track Record: With 15 years of working experience, lived in 9 countries and 4 continents around the world. Co-Founder of 360imprimir (today with +70m€ funding, presence in +50 countries, +200 employees), Director Biz Dev at mbrace (failed social app with loads of learnings), Managing Director of Megusta (boostrapped largest daily deals of Caribbean) and of Pricepanda of Rocket Internet (largest comparison website of APAC, exited).

- Fundraising and M&A Know-How: Performed as a Senior Investor at Portugal Ventures, with ownership and leadership for several ventures, being Board Member / Observer in 14 companies in early stage (pre-seed to seed), to growth (series A & B), to exit, such as the sports tech Videobserver, or the unicorn mobile entertainment app Fever. Over the last 8 years, Diogo has been supporting different startups and scaleups as an independent Board Member and Advisor in growth and M&A processes, in verticals such as eCommerce, entertainment, gaming, AR, health, sports, fintech, or climate tech.

- Projects with Global Brands & Organizations: Created and executed digital and cultural transformation projects, working with diverse teams and across the organizational landscape (e.g. Board of Directors, First Line Managers, Commercial Teams, Digital Teams) for prestigious organizations such as the NBA, Cofidis, L’Oréal, SL Benfica, Amorim, Sonae, Goldenergy, Sony IE or Deloitte.

- Multilateral Organizations, Research & Academia: Developed global and regional innovation projects & consortiums in the binomial technology & sustainability for the private and public sectors, like analyzing and recommending strategies to foster global education development for the Council of Europe, or how to embed financial risks from climate change into real estate assets and portfolios for Sonae Sierra. Former Curator of the World Economic Forum Global Shapers in Portugal. Board Member at the German Federal Association for Sustainability and Author of the book "Binomial Technology & Sustainability". Visiting Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Católica-Lisbon, ISCTE and Universidade Europeia.
